This course is designed to meet the ordination requirements for the Free Methodist Church.

100% online with virtual discussion prompts, videos, and independent learning. Instructor is available for 1:1 discussion and concept processing as well.

Duration
Students set their own pace, but all content must be completed within 16 weeks of starting the course.

A Survey of the New Testament, 5th edition Robert H. Gundry, Grand Rapids, Zondervan, 2012.

Course Description
By the time the student finishes this course he/she should be able to:

1. articulate the basic content of the NT as well as its message, theology, and teaching(hands)
2. make the Bible a part of his/her life (heart)
3. recognize key concepts in the Bible and their location in the New Testament (head)
4. see the redemptive thread that courses through the whole New Testament and Bible (head)
5. become familiar with the broad outline of the historical and geographical context in which the NT was written (able to recognize/identify key people, places, events, and dates, as well as some key worldview differences between ancient times and today)(head)
